Lekko

Lekko is a developer-focused B2B SaaS company building dynamic configuration tools inspired by the top solutions from Uber (Flipr) and Meta (Configerator) and backed by leading VCs like BoxGroup, Lux, SVAngel, Addition, and Abstraction. I came on as the first business hire (Founding Head of Business) to support the solo founder across business functions. I helped launch our first product, shaped the initial go-to-market strategy, managed burn rate and financial planning, and set up core operating procedures.

Project Overview

Lekko is building developer facing dynamic configuration technology that makes it possible to update code logic dynamically at runtime without rebuilding or redeploying underlying code.

Why I joined

I joined Lekko to support the founder in bringing their dynamic configuration technology to market. After spring.art, I wanted to continue pursuing my interest in working on complex technical products and saw this as the perfect opportunity to collaborate with talented ex-FAANG engineers on a tool for developers.

What I contributed

I joined Lekko while they were preparing for the first public launch of their product. Within a month of joining I helped to establish their initial product positioning, designed the first versions of marketing/sales collateral, supported our public relations process. This all led to a successful initial launch out of stealth generating a top 3 ranking on product hunt, over 500 engagements, and coverage across 20 news sources. I also helped to secure Lekko's first paying customers.

Following our launch I took ownership over financial planning and helped to significantly reduce burn and extend our runway, helped to establish regular communication rythms with our investors, and iteratively developed our go to market strategy.

When Lekko entered the acquisition process I helped to build out our strategy and establish contact with our target acquirers.
